Description - Daughter of Hermes and an unspecified mortal mother. - Born on November 9th, 1993. Currently 19 years old and approaching 20. - Brown hair, amber eyes, slight freckles, average build, more on the short side. - 5'3", 125 lb
Personality Overview Empathetic, clever, witty, tenacious, and often just blatantly silly, Thalia has many capabilities that would be a good addition to any workforce. She excels at creative thinking and working amongst other people. Mainly, her accomplishments lie within subjects such as literature, mathematics, and science. However, she may come off as conceited or ignorant, especially since she doesn't always think before speaking. But her intentions are good at heart. (Usually.)
Strengths
Like all good heroes, Thalia has her own personal symbol. In this case, it's a sunflower and key.
- Is a genius in the field of academics. Also quite imaginative and capable of approaching difficult problems in many different ways. - Determined, stubborn, won't let anything or anyone get in her way if she is motivated to complete a goal. (On the contrary, if she isn't motivated to do something, don't except it to be completed. Or even started.) - Often comes up with more creative and cunning solutions than expected. - Good in social situations or tasks that require interaction with others. - Likes narwhals. - Always tries to be optimistic and hopeful, even in the darkest of times.
Weaknesses - As mentioned previously, not good with anything that requires physical strength. - Not exactly the best when it comes to thinking practically. Thalia may be a genius in academics, but she lacks a lot of common sense. - Possesses little common sense. Seriously. - Easily distracted, and also easily bored. - Kleptomania. - Prone to lying about pretty much anything. (But never for truly malicious purposes.) - Cannot stand working alone at anything. - Will often act based on emotional impulses instead of logical judgement. - No super-awesome-special-flashy-magical skills, despite being a demigod. - Travels around. A lot. Good luck trying to get her to stay in one neighborhood for even a month. Most Significant Achievements - Saved the narwhal population from Arctic warming along with a team of researchers. Came up with the majority of the planning and design necessarily to complete such a task. - Conclusively solved Goldbach's conjecture. (One of the oldest, and yet a very simple, unsolved mathematical number theory. It states that every even integer above two can be shown as the sum of two prime numbers.) Even more impressively, she did it out of sheer boredom on a rainy day. - Found a cure to cancer by accident completely on purpose with the intent of doing so.
